With Myself – Mini Album Release Concert

WITH YOURSELF is a new mini-album by Zane Dombrovska - a five-song journey, designed as a movement in the space between the visible and the felt, between what happens and what remains unsaid. This is the singer's fourth solo album, and this time paying special attention not only to the lyrics and melody, but also to the sound space - as a place in which the listener can be.

The album premiere will take place on May 10 at 2:00 p.m. in Ropaži at the Skaņu muiža 360° (surround sound concert hall). The concert format is intended as a single listening event, where the album will be played in full volume. The album will be “warmed up” by a sound installation created especially for this event in the room.

The album was created to be played in both stereo and surround sound, allowing the music to expand the listening experience and illuminate nuances. Sound here is not just an accompaniment - it is part of the story.

The first single from the album - the song "vaļā" - was already known to listeners last spring. In turn, the single "tuvāk" followed in the fall of 2025. A visual identity was also created for the singles - in collaboration with stylist Olga Kolotova, photographer Māris Morkānas and make-up artist Anna Štein.

I have collaborated with cellist Markus Skraucis on the album. The stereo mixes were made by Edgars Skrāģis (Mixing.lv). The vocal recording was done at AMFO studio, for which a special, personal thank you to Ainārs Majoras. The songs “vaļā” and “tuvāk” were created in collaboration with producer Tomas Kagaines.

This concert is intended as a unified listening experience - an opportunity to enjoy the album in its entirety, in a space where sound breathes with the music.
