PICNIC 22/08

Musical PICNIC is a peaceful, free-form cultural event in nature, where a visitor with a single entrance ticket can spend an afternoon and evening in the territory of Skaņu Muiža 360, dedicating time to themselves, their loved ones, and sound.

From 2:00 p.m. the area is open for picnics and visitors can stay there freely all day long until 10:00 p.m. Picnic baskets are welcome — food and drinks can be brought into the area. We also invite you to bring your own blankets and folding chairs to comfortably settle in the meadow. Meanwhile, the performative cultural program starts from 4:00 p.m.

Sound installations will be located in the area, which can be viewed and listened to at a leisurely pace, allowing yourself to be immersed in the sounds of nature, the environment, and time together.

Throughout the day, various events related to listening to surround sound will take place from time to time, created by artists from the Skaņu Muiža 360 summer residency. New works created specifically for this place will be presented. Among the events, there will also be moments left for simply being in nature - listening, thinking, or doing nothing in particular.

In rainy weather, visitors will be able to take shelter in the concert hall lobby under the roof, although there may be a more compact gathering.

Animals are not allowed to enter the territory.
